Transportation in Santa Monica is changing fast. How can Santa Monica’s 88,000+ daily commuters take advantage of the city’s new mobility options? That was the subject of a recent event held by Santa Monica’s Transportation Management Organization (TMO).
The GoSaMo TMO brought together a wide range of Santa Monica employers to sit down with new mobility companies to discuss everything from scooter to carpools for commuters. Representatives from Bird, Jump, Lyft, Waze Carpool, and Micro Kickboards were are all at hand to discuss what they can offer Santa Monica employers and their employees. Employers asked questions about trip tracking, liability, and costs while encouraging the mobility companies to make their employer programs easy to implement.
